Ever heard a deer whine?
#1
I was out a few weeks ago and had a really nice buck chase a doe about 30 yards from me. I could tell that she had been running this guy a while, and when he came by...he never slowed down for a shot....the buck was whimpering on every step and loud too! Kind of sounded like a puppy whine. Man did he want that doe! [8D]
Just wondering how many people have ever heard this.
Before I heard it for myself I had never known them to make this sound. Kind of cool, but it would have been cooler if he would have stopped. He was a really nice heavy 10 point from what I could tell, as he ran by me.
Thanks.

Don't know if it was a whine or not.......but a few years ago I was bowhunting a narrow wooded section of land. The farmer soon came into the standing cornfield with his combine and started harvesting the corn. Not long after a decent 8 point came from the south and was looking toward the cornfield, seemingly intent on either entering the standing corn or sad the standing corn was being combined. He continously bahhhed. A few minutes later I nailed him at 25 yards. I almost didn't take the shot due to the sadness he seemed to portray because of the cornfield being invaded by that combine..................almost!
