Has anyone else heard this??
I have not come across anthing on this subject personally, but my friend told me his brother heard about it and he's been looking into I guess. He was telling me that information has been floating around about the temperature is actually takes to reactivate a carbon lined suit.He heard that it takes temperatures way higher than what the average household dryer can produce to even reactivate the garment. Basically saying that the suits quit working? I don't know iftheir sourcesare reliable, but they are both reliable people and good hunters. Like I said it could be a rumor, but I thought I would bring it up and see if anyone else had heard this or would agree/disagree.

Yes it's true and false....we have Carbon filters in our HVAChere where I work, and after a certain amount of time we have "break through", so we just replace the entire filter bankbecause of the cost to "regenerate" the active carbon, BUT this type of carbon has a much higher density than say a carbon suit, which is basically carbon dust, so less temps are required to reactivate it. Hope that makes sense.
