Yes it's true and false....we have Carbon filters in our HVAChere where I work, and after a certain amount of time we have "break through", so we just replace the entire filter bankbecause of the cost to "regenerate" the active carbon, BUT this type of carbon has a much higher density than say a carbon suit, which is basically carbon dust, so less temps are required to reactivate it.
