ORIGINAL: big rockpile

The only problem I ever seen was on a Hog.The Blade curled up and no penatration.

Deer I've never had a problem.

big rockpile
Was that with a Spitfire XP? I'm not a fan of the XP or any other COC tip of that design becasue it seems like the tip would curl/mushroom very easy if you hit something solid....

MECHANICAL! Thats the problem for me! I use to shoot titans myself, i quit using them for the same reason. Mine use to always bend in the shaft of the broadhead. I shoot a 3 blade cut on contact head (snuffer) and these things leave holes and nice blood trails! My average blood trail is about 40 yards! Based on bear and deer i have shot. Good luck on your decision!

im looking to upgrade from my muzzys and have looked into mechanical heads, but with my low draw weight at 50-55 # i dont know how well theyll perform. my friend pulls around the same weight and has expandables and he hit three deer, finding blood trails from only one of them. im just looking for a new fixed blade. i also heard somebody say that the G5s whistle in the air, any body hear of that?
