to night is the hunters moon
i am in indiana and the news was on and they said it was the hunters full moon tonight what will that mean for the rut and the few days of hunting i thought the next full moon was not untill mid nov

The Hunter's Moon is the second full moon after the fall equinox. It should mean for hunting that you need to be in your stand and be prepared to see some signs of bucks chasing does.

Just took a quick little ride around the house and sawtwo 8 pointers going at itreallyhardin an alfalfa field. Pretty cool to watch, and really got me pumped up about tomorrow morning. Good luck everyone and always be prepared. Never know when that hot doe is going to come running through with the buck of your dreams behind her.
