Glassing three fields last evening, the average was 17 does to every buck. (field 1 - 33 does 2 bucks, field 2 - 41 does 3 bucks, field 3 - 17 does, no bucks). The bucks had visible antlers, so some of the does may have been BB's. I know the ratio is lower than 17:1, the bucks weren't in the fields yet. Last year we took 45 doe and some nice 8's and 10's from the property and plan on 50 more doe this year. A couple years of this and we should be well on our way to a QDM property.

What Bucks????????????????? Haha this is the worst year I have ever had!!! I dont even have the drive to go out anymore until we get a hard frost!!
