What went wrong?
Last night I got into the stand about 4pm. Sitting there for an hour and nothing. I knew the deer would come down off this hill using a tractor path then cut off under some apple trees to get into the corn field. All of a sudden I see a small buck. Slowly grab the bow when he was behind a tree and I draw back. Rigth as I was about to release i say a stick brush over his back as he went into a bush. He was headed for another opening but turned toward me. Then as he exited the bush he just looked up and locked on. He did seem to be alarmed at first (until I was getting tired and too excited started shaking) then he just bounded 20 yrds and kept walking. Did this deer wind me or just know I was there. up until he looked up I was clam and not shaking too bad

RE: What went wrong?
I've been winded before and this deer showed no signs of winding me I'm going with movement thanks for all your help. Plus when it comes to scent free I am pretty anal about it. Showering, laundry, sprays, wind direction, cover scents its all there.

Yeah I do wear mossy oak break up!!! Darn it. Do you think that swtiching camo patterns would be a wise choice or its fine just don't move. And once he locked on I got nervous and when I get nervous you can tell I was shaking real bad. Plus I don't think i reached for my bow very well either. Thanks
