I believe they are seeking. They will be chasing within the next few weeks.
Sure hope they catch some.

There is a difference between chasing does and dogging does. The bucks are clearly ready, the does are not.....of course there are exceptions. Things should really change in the next two weeks.
I agree. The does/fawns havent split but i have seen some doe dogging.

The young bucks are geared up and ready to go but the does want nothing to do with it. I saw 2 young bucks dogging does last night. One of the does got on her hind legs and swatted at one of the bucks head with her front legs then ran off. Pretty funny stuff.

Does aren't ready.. There were 20 of them in the soybeans last night on my way out of the stand and no sign of seperating yet. No bucks that I could see.

Here in SE Michigan the bucks have been stalking for 2 weeks. I seen a 12 pt. come in hot and ready but, the does just scattered. Last week I missed a 10 pt. after he came in after a doe. No doubt, they are close. I think with the drops in temps here that by this weekend things are gonna get interesting.

I believe we are in the seeking phase as well in my area. I've called 2 small bucks in already, and saw a 10pt come out at 2:10 PM last Sat!
