I hunt most evenings out off of Rt87 out of Montoursville. But my parents live off of 973 towards Winter's Saw Mill. I have started to see some bucks just one shooter so far, that was Monday. (Too far, too dark) I really think that with this little drop in temp and after this rain that things are gonna pick up tomorrow night and the end of the week. Good luck.

I switch it up and head to the cabin on the Huntersville side of Little bear on Saturdays but haven't seen more than a scrub 3 up there.

I scouted some nice areas out near Millville on Sunday. My friend spotted a big buck up there last year, and we found a nice rub line on a creek bottom that I will be sitting on come Friday if the weather cooperates.

I heard some shoots Saturday morning out on the montain, most of them seemed to come from the lower section.

I was invited to hunt with a friends dad on his 28 acre plot on last Sat, so I couldn't make it to the mountain. I hope the shots were not from my land. There should have only been one bowhunter max up there last week.

I saw one car parked up on the right, just before the state forest starts, I think it was white, a suburau maybe.

Oh ya, that was my mechanic, I forgot, he had his kid up their later in the morning doing some squirrel hunting.

a buddy killed a 136 10pt last week and my cousin killed a 120 10pt this week i would say things are getting good

I have been hunting in franklin county all year. I have seen some decent bucks but very few. The weather is keeping them bedded up until nightfall. There has been some rubs and scrapes starting to show up. What part of Franklin county are you going to hunt in? Good luck , I hate to say it but you will need it.

Even though the weather is not cooperating,things are looking good. We're getting a week of rain here.
I hope it stops. The number of bigger buck sightings is amazing. And I believe that the real big boys have yet to show themselves.

razor...i hunt broad mountain and bear valley. more broad mtn than anything else out there. where are you hunting at out there?
