Default How long should i wait?

I was putting a stand on a patch of land i just got permission to hunt, and i bumped a pretty good sized buck. It was bedded down by a pond, close to where my stand is. How long should i wait to go back and hunt this property? I was thinking atleast a week, maybe 2.

Get out there an hour or 2 before daylight in the AM if you bumped him today. I'll bet he'll be coming in in the AM and you can take him.
This is what Andrae, The Lone Wolf, calls "bump and dump".

Depends, is the property one that it is likely the buck has been jumped before, or is it one that it is very unusal for someone to be walking around it? I have had success with putting up and stand and hunting it that night. As for kicking up bucks some mature bucks get kicked up and find somewhere else to live (thats why they get old).
