Default Bedding "Area"

I'm heading to a stand atop an oak ridgetop, tomorrow (Same tree I shot my first ever deer from). Question to you guys......

If a group of deer is utilizing this acorn ridgetop as their main food source, right now.....what are the chances they'll move from their primary bedding area and bed down real close to the food source?

Reason I ask is....I don't wanna blow every deer in my area out.....going in. If they're still bedding in their normal "area"......I'll be fine (though I will blow some out, for sure).

This oak ridge is about 300-400yds from their normal bedding area.

I think you should be fine as long as your careful. If you get in there and your pushing a few more deer out than you think you should be, then back out. It is worth a shot though. I don't think you can do to much damage going in there.

Im guessing evenings is where youmay have that trouble, deer leaving the normal beds early and browsing toward the primary food source, kind of staging on the way there. may get caught on the way in. Deer are just to unpredictable, you think you have them figured out then they throw a curve ball at ya that has been filed with an emry board (wiked)
