Mauser - thanx buddy. Your assessment of our AR's is spot-on. No age-structure at all. This deer I killed is probably the second-best buck in the entire woodlot, and he's not a day over 2.5. Great genetics. Great food. Just no opportunity to grow. I wasn't passing him. I wish I could have, but if I ever wanted to hear my bow go off, I had no option but to take him out.

This summer, I posted pictures of probably 15 different bucks from my hunting grounds, and I bet there MIGHT have been one that went 3.5. From the stand this season, I've seen 10 different buck - 7 1.5's and 3 2.5's. Lots of the 1.5's are legal, so they won't make it either, once the gunners invade.

Bry - I'd be lucky if he could scare 110 - short brows and short beams. I like those lighted nocks, but those things are too rich for my blood. I'm a tightwad.

I'm at work, and my hands still smell like 13-hour old deerguts. Not good.
PA is on fire!!!!

You can take care of that smell with some fast orange hand cleaner!

Come on Gary, that deer will easily push 150. I'm gonna pump him up with some HGH and Deeroids before I start measuring. I also prefer to measure mine in centimeters.

I figure, 2.54 x 95 = 241.3

Yeah, first shot with the Montecs.

Mike - Fast Orange... Reminds me of an episode when I was a kid, after an evening with a girl I was dating. It's a long story, but suffice it to say thatFast Orange bailed me out of a potentially bad situation involving her dad and my fingers. I may very well owe my life to Fast Orange.
