Gary, I am the man. You know that. I know that. It's understood. Ha Ha

Matt - you're probably right. I don't know of anyone who's hunting under 285 grains, nor do I know of anyone hunting over 625. Some addages in life are true, and one of them is "if you're not leading, then you're following." I've always pushed the envelope and tried to take my own approach, even if it's met with some resistance. These arrows are truly the cutting edge of the sport - just neat to be the guy out there doing something different.

I'm sure you can relate, bro. I bet you've have had guys snicker and sneer when you told them that your huntingarrowsare scaring the 700 grain mark. "Ohhh, that's WAYYY too heavy and slow..." Nothing beats proving somebody wrong, or showing the world that your way works, even if you took a different approach.

Congrats.

I'm wondering by the bucks reaction if very much KE was transferred to the buck. Like you said, he may not even known he was hit. With your arrow being buried in the dirt, sounds like it had a lot of KE left after the pass through.

awesome bud!! thats a good buck!! congrats!!

another PA buck hits the dirt...been a good season for some..

but like quick said...either guys are on the bucks this year or they arent. i get ALOT of reports of buddies not seeing much of anything...then theres guys that were on deer from day 1 and most of them are tagged out or holding out for bigger. odd year IMO. out of all the changes in PA, i can say the biggest one ive noticed is MORE bucks. which is odd being how many button bucks get whacked as does...this is only my 2nd year bowhunting, but im in the woods ALOT. i see a good bit of deer through the year..definently noticing more bucks. we got food and genetics(in most of the state) but like my buck, he was 1.5 and legal in the whole state...which is a good number of our 1.5yro bucks..we just need more age class. which in due time, may come from ARs. i know when i start seeing more bigger bucks, i will hold out.

good job quick...thats a good PA buck..congrats

Fran, Congrats on a great buck buddy. You deserve it and I'm glad to hear your setup performed so flawlessly. Now you just need to get some of those lighted nocks so you can see those bad boys in flight and watch them zip through the deer.

Any idea on a score yet? I'm guessing 105-115.

Awesome buck. I'm hoping this PA luck doesn't run out. I'm really in an archery drought.

Congrats.
