Mauser - thanx buddy. Your assessment of our AR's is spot-on. No age-structure at all. This deer I killed is probably the second-best buck in the entire woodlot, and he's not a day over 2.5. Great genetics. Great food. Just no opportunity to grow. I wasn't passing him. I wish I could have, but if I ever wanted to hear my bow go off, I had no option but to take him out.

This summer, I posted pictures of probably 15 different bucks from my hunting grounds, and I bet there MIGHT have been one that went 3.5. From the stand this season, I've seen 10 different buck - 7 1.5's and 3 2.5's. Lots of the 1.5's are legal, so they won't make it either, once the gunners invade.

Bry - I'd be lucky if he could scare 110 - short brows and short beams. I like those lighted nocks, but those things are too rich for my blood. I'm a tightwad.
