If I had to guess, dr....I'd say it was the one from a few weeks ago. This was only 150yds from that spot. It would "make sense" to me, based on what I remember and the evidence at hand (arrow).

Damn I hate to see that kind of thing. What a horrible experience for the poor little thing. I have a huge soft spot for animals in need like that. That's so terrible.

I got a PM from a fellow forum member that said this was disrespectful to the animals. If you're offended by these photos and this story....I sincerely apologize. It was not my intention to do so.

Huh? I think we have all seen similar posts and photos(bear, deer, roadkill buck, etc.). Just telling a story of events in your area. A pic of a dead deer is a pic of a dead deer, how it dieddoesn't make it disrespetful to post, IMO.
