Default Oh What a Feeling

No I didn't kill a big deer but its a close 2nd.

After 18 years of smoking a pack a day - I've finally quit smoking!!!
Its only been 9 days 14 hours and 41 minutes, but I think I'll be able to see this it through this time!

And the great feeling... the extra confidence in scent control, focus, and stillness that I've gained by not smoking on stand or constantly worrying about when I can smoke... its awesome!

I highly recommend it to anyone who currently smokes - you would be amazed at how much more peaceful and enjoyable the woods are without feeling the need to light up.

I don't care whether you and I agree or disagree on other subjects......quitting smoking is commendable....and I'm happy for you AND your family.

Stick with it.

Thanks Guys!

Its not been too easy but my desire to quit finally outweighs my cravings to smoke.

I know I've got a long road ahead of me so I'll take the small victories as I go.

I quit a month and a half ago. I used the patch. You have to want to quit before you can acomplish anything.

One tip-- Don't smoke one down the road when you think you have it under control. That is all it takes.

Good luck and get ready to start feeling better.

I read the post and all the congratulations and wish you all the best in this daily battle. I did almost wet myself when I read Gr8's post though.

Sweet best thing you could do for your hunting. I don't want to debate about smoking and deer. I just want to point out that your day of chasing deer were just extended. Congrats man. It really is a wonderful thing that you have the will power to do it. You will never stop thanking yourself.
