Do any of you guys ever get that feeling, when you're on your way to the woods or just get in your stand and you absolutely KNOW you're going to see a deer. It's not just cause you're sitting in a spot where there are always deer, it's just the feeling that "I know I'm going to see something tonight." I just get that feeling sometimes. It's hard to describe. I can be sitting on stand and not have had that feeling and look up and there's a deer, but hey that's hunting. But i'm talking about just knowing something's going to happen or you're going to see something. It's weird I guess. Just wondered if anybody else ever felt like that!

Yeah but i am not sure if i had luck that day. But anyway it was a cool feeling.

The other day I had it.

Then about game time,I here the motorcycle riding around the bedding area.I look over and 2 deer are 100 yards away,then he decides that he is going to ride right by my stand.


Anyone know how far you lead a motorcycle at 20 yards when the are running about 15 mph.[:@]

My feeling was right,I did see deer.

oh that sucks dude. Wow. I've had a similar thing happen only it was a quad. That pissed me off just as much though.

Funny thing is,I have about 700 acres to hunt and this is the absolutely best spot I have found.The bedding area is on the next property and he is within his rights to ride there but when he crossed the property line.Well,lets just say it is a good thing I was 20' up a tree.

Have it all the time... but the deer don't seem to know the routine. They show up when I least expect them.

Here is myanswer toyour question about "the feeling". I have had the feeling recently. It happened the last day of the moose hunt September 15th 2006. My wife and I slipped out for an evening of hunting just because I knew something big was going to happen. I killed a 62" moose that night.

The force was with me that night.

Its my wife that has the feeling that i connected and she is usually right.
