Absolutely normal!!
This is my 13th year hunting (I think), and I start getting all weird at the beginning of September (opening day was Oct. 1st). I can't think of anything else except hunting or hunting-related stuff. I still feel my stomach rolling a little when I pull into the lot where I hunt. I just can't wait to get into the woods!! And I still feel like I'm going to pass out when I see a deer in bow-range.
It only gets better from here on....or worse, depending on how you look at it.

Welcome aboard. You never forget your first. That first experience that you keep recollecting on is what keeps you going out. Once you kill you're first deer, it'll be what keeps you deerhunting.
