Welcome to the club!! Just remember to be prepared for anything. Just when you think you know what you were doing a twist will soon come. Every hunt is a learning experience.

It's great, ain't it? I'm going hunting tonight and it's all I can think about all day long. It's like a kid waiting for christmas every time I go.

This is kinda like my mom always getting on my butt asking me something along the lines of, "Why is it so hard for you to go to class at 8,but you have no problemwaking up at 4 to go hunting?"

thanks dens.....actually I'm a little closer to 'being prepared for anything' after my friend Matt, who's been hunting since he could crawl, got.....are you ready for this...IMPATIENT during our turkey hunt at the exact moment a big fat gobbler was about 12 yards away from me. he moved, gobbler was off like a prom dress.

it was my first introduction into "I got it...I got it....I AINT got it", and how even the most experienced hunters can encounter "undesirable results"

I get pumped every day that I am going to go hunting!! So I am sure that you are definately normal!!!

You know, I think sometime back when I was in 6th or 7th grade, we had to watch a sexual eduction tape that was called "Am I normal?"!!! So reading that in the title of the post, really made me laugh!!

Eman,
Yep, you're normal. Well, at least I assume you're normal just like I assume I am. This year was my first year bow hunting, and it's almost all I've thought about since I got my bow in March. Maybe we're abnormal in the overall scheme of things, but for hunters, we're pretty much normal.

Welcome to the forums!
