i just bought some mineral powder called deer insane. i didn't know if i should go ahead and put it out, since the season starts on monday. I won't be able to hunt for a few weeks though. Should i wait or try to put it out before the season starts? Any advice will help.

Where do you hunt? Is baiting legal? Do you intend to bait?

If legal and you intend to bait, then by all means, yes. You want the deer to find it and continue to come to it. Be sure to refreshen it from time to time.

I hunt in NE Kansas, but im not sure if it is legal or not. this is my second year hunting and i didn't use anything like this last year.

I read through the online regulations and i couldn't find anything about baiting deer. If anyone knows otherwise please let me know.
