Gonna kill my dog
#14
I've also seen deer spook at "bottled urine" so who knows what's what except the deer themselves. Personally I never take chances....sure we've all seen deer do this, do that but are they the exceptions or the rules. What about deer we don't see because of what we do rather than the ones we do see.
I still advocate a total scentless (as scentless as possible) process in all regards.

I don't think it will bother the deer at all. I'd think it would smell just like any other dog urine (think coyote) if urine even has a specific scent per species (which I doubt). It probably just smells like what is eaten or drank by the animal producing it, since all dogs eat about the same thing, I would think a domestic dogs' urine would smell just like a wild ones'.

You messed up! Your dog was punking you out and claiming your blind for himself! As soon as you saw him peeing on it you should have went right over and peed on it yourself!
Still not too late to do so.
