Default Too Late??

When is it to late to hang your stands. Deer season is right around the corner and was wondering if it to late to hang up some more stands.

Not at all. I've hung stands the day before the season and even during. You just might want to take extra precautions on how you go about it. Do it like you'd be hunting.Know the wind, where to approach, make minimal contact with the area, etc....anything to reduce your chances of running deer out of the area. The good thing is it's still early, so the deer (depending on where you hunt) hopefully will not be as nervous or skiddish. At least that's how they are where I hunt. Get out there and hang'em!!!

I move stands around accordning to the phases of the rut so it doesnt really matter, just being the right place at the right time is what counts. Element of suprise.

If it's not hung, you can't hunt it.

I'd also say never too late. I've hung them and hunted them the same day and have even seen deer.
