Here is a pic I took, the Mosquitos were so bad I was hating it! I put the camera on I corn stalk and used the timer! I believe she is 1.5 year old Doe, I don't think she's a 2.5 year old!

Have you pulled out your target and taken a few shots to see if the arrow flight was a one time deal, or if you got something seriously wrong with your bow?

Nice patience. I like what I have been reading this season. I have read more stories of people backing out and finding their deer than I have people kicking them up and loosing them. Nice job. Congrats.

Way to stay with it. Backing out was the best idea that you had.

I went back and before I took my stand down I looked it over and I believe clipped this branch right out of the gate! I must of been learning back as I am doing in the pic.

Also if you see the White Birch trees in the middle of the picture, this is where the Coyotes ate my other Doe. The very left of the pic is the corner of the field where she was standing when I shot her, she the ran just behind the Birch trees and died!

Last nights Doe was standing in the little clearing in the middle of the pic behind the big shrubs, 27 yards. That grass around the clearing is up to my shoulders and boggy like! When she got up she ran to the right!

Glad you found her BHF

You did the right thing by giving her time to expire

I'm standing where she dropped and what she ran into, the Cedar Swamp! Like I said the grasses are up to my shoulders and I'm 6'1"!
