Better to have the scavengers out in the woods than creeping around the hunting shack..

Usually I bring it back to the house since its usually 15 minutes or less away. I like to have access to the hose while doing it as well. We live in the sticks so I bury the gut pile in the back yard and roll a big log over it.

Where it drops or close by.

I get them out of my hunting area. We have spots for that. Thier called coyote bait pile spots.

I don't. I do the outlaw job on them and leave them where they lay.

All I can say is try doing anything but #1 with an elk. Only if on the low odds that you can drive to it withtruck and awinch.. I think Hiawatha was lucky enough to do that.

If I was a whitetail hunter hunting on a stand and hada tag for another animal on that stand or a friend that wanted to use the stand, I'd get the animal and its guts outa dodge.

I gut mine out on my hunting land. I don't gut it right where it falls (around my hunting stand), but I drag it off somewhere on my property and gut it there.

I bring them back to the hizzy. Usually my kids and doglike to jump and frollic in the gut pile, they have a good ole time.
