Q On New Lightweight Climber
My brother got a catalogue of a new climber called the TimberTall climbing tree stand. I'm not a fanatic on comfort as much as I am portability and being lightweight since I sometimes venture a long way to my hunting spots...this 2 piece climber weighs an amazing 11lbs complete! I found that amazing....it also has a self leveling system that you can level out while up in the tree rather than climbing all the way back down.
Have any of you invested in this new stand, and how well do you like it?? I'm considering this stand for next bow season.

RE: Q On New Lightweight Climber
I have never seen or heard of the "Timber Trail" but I'll have to check it out. I bought a new climber this year which is extremely light as well. It's a Lone Wolf Alpha. Sit and climb model that is super light. It doesn't have the self leveler, which is very nice. But, I loved the Lone Wolf. They are on the web. Very easy to negotiate over the knots and things because of it's light weight.

I'm pretty sure its called the Timber Trail or Timber Tall, something like that....they are made somewhere in PA...my bro got the info from a bowhunting equipment magazine, wrote to them and got their catalogue....I was wondering myself if they had a website that I could check out.....I'm going to investigate the matter and get back to you interested climbers.
