I replaced mine after having my bow for 1 year....I think the string was faulty on my matthews from the factory. The serving was seperating and the string was alll frayed....I am gonna be a little more careful with this one and wax it often...

In the past I changed my string every spring....Actually I'd immediately take the factory string off my new bow and replace it with one of my own. When I sold that bow the next year, I'd put the factory string back on it.
With today bows depending on how much you truly shoot it, how you care for it you can get away with two seasons, if you check it, measure etc tune you bow...however,
regarding your bow brown boy09...you should have changed it before this season, now you should wait and change them after this season.

The "safe" answer would be to change it. BUT, there are quite a few variables that need consideration. What type of string is it? How was it taken care of? Waxed? How often? How has it been stored? How much do you shoot it? Are there and broken strands.....
When in doubt, change it.....Or take it to your pro shop and have them look at it.
