I don't think it's bouncing back up. I had a similar problem with the HD that is on my 3d bow. What I found was that there was too much slack in the restcable and it was not bringing the rest back all the way every time. When it did not bring the rest all the way back the rest wouldn't drop until the vane hit it. I tore some vanes off of a couple of arrows until I figured this out. I shortened therest cableabout 1/8" and now it's working perfectly.

Try that and you should see an improvement. Good luck.

thanks hunting....i will check the tension on the cable to see if it is very tight or if it has some play in it...

I know mine "locks" in the fully upright position. You can also do this manually to check. It'll lock with the thumb tab, also.

I always lock mine up before shooting, but if you read the manual you will see it says the rest has to go to at least 90 degrees to work properly. This is how I found my problem. I'm pretty confident this should fix the problem.

gm - yes mine locks in the upright but as hunting said it is suppose to be at 90 degree...i will check that out and let you know what i find

well i pulled the bow out and the rest comes to 90 degrees....so i have send qad an email to see whats what...thanks for your guys' help
