I felt like I had everything set for next weekend's opener....and only remembered my HUNTING LICENSE when I went to Wal-Mart to get some dryer sheets.

good thing you're not in PA and have to send in for your doe tags the first day available to ensure that you get one. (in some WMU's).

I still like getting my archery tags and whatnot. I haven't forgot, but I just can't shell the money out, but I can for bows and other stuff. Ironic isn't it? LOL!! I have my "liscense" but not my archery permit and big game permit.

My '06 license is still valid......but I honestly hadn't thought of getting my new license until I was already there. Funny, too.....the guy behind the counter knew nothing of our new extra doe tags that came into effect, this year.

Yeah....but that's where I actually go to get my license (the last 5 years or so). It's probably where I'll go to get my extra doe tags (If I need to get them). So...somebody there better learn about them, soon

That's where I always go to get mine too, it's a little more convienant.

Here in NY we have a lifetime license if you want to break with the coin. I did this about 8 or 9 years ago. Maybe longer! I forget, guess that's why I bought it cause they mail it to me every year before the season!

I just buy my patrons license on March 31 (I think), when they first go on sale. Then I have every tag I need for the year. Like to keep it simple.
