The walker's game ear sounds like a grand idea. Do the squirrels and small critter's annoy you??
I also like this idea.

Anybody ?

Try one of those small handheld games like Yahtzee, Tetris, or Blackjack (there are a whole bunch more of them). Its a good way to keep your mind occupied...just remember to turn the sound off.

Sleep all the time in the stand (climber with padded front rail, no way to fall out)
It's the only "good" sleep I get, At home I am always afraid I'll wake up to the nempho wife doing the "Reverse cowgirl" - with props.

Slack
OMG. You too?? My ex was the same way. It got to bad that I stopped staying at her house. I would get NO sleep. She would always say "its what you get for being so good".

As far as staying awake in the stand? If I am in one of my stands that I can sleep in (climber, lounger lockon, box stand) I am out like a light bulb.

As long as their is deer activity I can stay awake..but if it gets slow and I am in one of my stands that I can't sleep in I usually text a few of my friends or find something to tear off the tree and play with or something....ADD kicks my ass.[:@]

I do something most may think is crazy, I STAND the entire time while on stand. Keeps me more alert, and able to see what is going on 360 degrees around me. I watch the birds and the squirrels, I've been know to kill a cat or two when they ventured too close, but I've never had any problems staying awake while STANDING in my stand.

not much of a morning person myself, so sometimes it is very, very hard to stay awake. dont really have a cure for it because i dont like coffee. i have tried other types of caffine, but they just make me move around too much.
