How do you guys stay awake on the stand
 

Okay let's have it. How do you guys stay awake? Especially on those REALLY cold days when the sun finally comes up and hits your body and gets you all warm and cozy. I admit, I have to stand up just to stay awake. The mornings are the hardest, I'm not much of a morning person to begin with. I've been known to kill stray dogs in the morning b/c i'm PISSED they messed up my hunt.

I don't. I decided a long time ago not to fight it. There's no telling how many deer I've missed walking by me while I'm snoring. However, I can vouch for more than a few that have woken me up. :D

Just curious, do you have a major shot of cafine before you go? It works both ways, at first it makes you alert, then it can make you go the other way, as in tired. just curious :eek::eek:

The anticipation of a 140" buck coming towards my stand and giving me a 20 yard broadside shot usually does it. I dont' think I've ever fallen asleep or dozed off while on stand. Too much cool stuff to look at and enjoy [8D].

I never have a problem in the morning...it's the early afternoon waiting for the activity to pick up that usually has me nodding. Sometimes just knowing I'm 18 feet off the ground is enough to keep me awake....harness or not! :D

Yep that will work, you'll be getting down to pee every five minutes!:D:D

I didn't know you were supposed to say awake, maybe that's why I don't kill anything. :D:D
