Ethical question....

RE: Ethical question....
I know a man who let his teenage daughter hunt with a 32 pound bow a few years ago (the law in Arizona is 40 pounds minimum) and she took a couple of javelina. You have to deal with the legality of your situation depending on your state laws, but 36 pounds will get the job done with a well placed shot. If your wife shoots 10 to 20 arrows a couple of times a day for afew weeks, you should be able to up her poundage to 40 pounds. I would advise against having her draw the bow 4-5 times and let down. That is very hard on the shoulder, especially on a small woman. It would be better to have her shoot multiple times each day. Good luck.

Get her a couple of 15 pound dumb bells, and have her do shoulder presses,3 days a week on the off days that she is shooting. Also , bent over rows with the same weight, and 'girl' push ups. Each exercise should be 3 sets at 6-8 reps, but if she can only get a few reps on the third set, no problem. Keep using that weight until she can easily do the 3 sets, and all reps--then it will be time to move up to 20. In a month , you will see her pulling the legal weight with ease--and she might be able to kick your butt!
