Ok so i have heard a lot of people saying that they pee in a bottle while up in the stand. But i have also heard that deer are attracted to urine. No matter what kind... What do you guys do?

i wizz right off the side of mine. i clear leaves out from a spot to a side of my stand to spit(i chew snuff) and to wizz into....the leaves are cleared just so i dont make noise while doing it...

i usually hold it but sometimes you got to go when you got to go

Gatorade bottle for me--though i never drink the yellow looking gatorade--could get confused[:'(]

Usually when I can't hold it I'll walk to a spot and with my heel dig up the earth. Pee in the spot and cover it with the dirt and leaves I dug with my heel.

Kind of like a dog.

My brother was chewing mint Skoal one time in the stand, he said a fork horn came in on him, circled around down-wind, and came right underneath his stand to get a good whiff of it. Now if they made one that only smelled like doe piss...

[/align]I peed in a bottle for a few weeks, then I read an article in NA whitetail (I think) that said deer reacted with curiosity to human urine rather than spooking, and peed on the ground ever since. The only negative reaction I got from it was when a stray dog missing a leg came along and rolled in it. (for sympathy?) Once I had gone and in less than 10 minutes had a spike and fork horn come along and hang out around my stand for 20 minutes or so rubbing saplings, playing around, so forth.

I got an extra wide mouth bottle I use. It's 32 ounces an I fill it with each relief.

I have a gatorade bottle that I use. I do sometimes wait till I get to the bottom of the tree, in my experience never bothered the deer.

I'll take a whiz before leaving the parking place. Then I usually can make it most of the morning. if I have to go I get down and go in the woods downwind of my stand, but that's only been a couple times in alot of years.
