I do it right off of the stand. I've killed deer from the same stand that same day.

I don't piss of my stand but I spit( Chew)....a lot of people were saying they spit there chew off the side of the stand and deer come in..well that was opposite for me during Gun Season but when I quit I see deer...and it was Wolf Mint.....so now I chew on my way to the woods...worsh out my mouth and eat some apples!!

yes I know..14 is a lil young for a Chewer...but its a habit!

Previously I was a devote Bottle user...A couple years ago I did a little experiment of sorts where I hunt.
There was a fairly good sized scrape 20yds from my treestand that year that got "Treated" everytime I went into and out of my standsite.
I'd go back to Hunt the next morning and the scrape would be cleaned to the ground...even after it had snowed and covered it with a foot of snow on a couple of occassions!
Human urine does not bother deer and may even challenge the scrape maker. I believe they can tell male from female but not that it's human after just a few minutes.

That is exactly what I do when I'm hunting from the ground. In a stand I use a bottle.

I've taken several deer after relieving myself right out of the stand.

None were trophy bucks though.

I had a coworker that claimed that he has taken a crap out of his stand a few times.

I have no idea how he accomplished that feat but just the thought of it has me shaking my head.

This guy is a nut and yes I believe him.

Yep...I couldn't answer because I prefer to freshen a scrape....It works.
