Anybody who doesn't like Barta ever thought about turning off the frickin' TV when his show comes on? Tred bashing is getting more than just a bit B-O-R-I-N-G!

praise for meaningless attributes.
I said Tred hunted the hard way......and acknowledge that despite all of his social misgivings......Vick is an accomplished NFL quarterback. That's not rose colored glasses.......that's not admitting you're BLIND.

You continue to praise Pete Rose because he of his ball hitting ability while being completely blind to the facts that the man is a admitted criminal an abusive father and an all around butt wipe.
Wrong....again. I give him credit for being the most prolific base hitter the game's ever known (admit to NOT being blind)....and agree to him being a butt-wipe.

I'm sure you can find solace in Ray Lewis and his return to the fine game of football, Helluva a guy.
Wrong, AGAIN......but is he a good player?

And of course Vick is a great quarterback in your mind.
It's got nothing to do with my opinion. His numbers don't lie.

In mine he is only out of jail because of who he is and in your mind he is only in trouble because of who he is.

Wrong....AGAIN (see apattern?) I think he should be put away for more than he's gonna get......and you putting thoughts and words in my mouth is ringing hollow to your argument.

Your choice of admirable people and mine are vastly different.

Show me where I ONCE said I admired them as people. You can't.

Well I am glad to see you agree with me.
Praise is something that is earned .Tred in my eyes has not earned it.
I am not sure it is possible to Host a TV show that All Hunters would watch & support ,but I do feel there is a lot of room for improvement over what we presently have.
Editing seems to be a real weak spot in what is acutely seen by viewers and what sees the floor.
The way I see itsports stars gone bad is if their names are never spoken again in public then the very fame they seek will be rightfully taken away.
Pete Rose comes to my mind as a prime example of name notoriety.[:'(]

Have a good one ,Jim

Tred endorses a product that my company makes, and I have met him and talk with him when he came in for a tour of the plant. The guy isn't asbig of a jerkas you might think from watching his shows. He has a good sense of humor and is a blast to talk to. I honestly have never tried to hunt like he does and for that I could never comment or put the guy down for that.

I could care less if Michael Vick goes down a razor blade laden slide into a pool of alcohol......but that takes nothing away from the fact that he's a damned good NFL quarterback.
I don't really have an opinion on Tred, but I have to disagree with your assessment of Michael Vick as a "damned good" NFL quarterback. He is (was) mediocre at best. He is a world class athlete for sure, and fun to watch, but he was only average at the quarterback position.

To me, Fred Bear did it the hard way
I have a feeling.....that if Fred Bear's hunting escapades were all filmed......he'd disappoint a LOT of people.

I think if you film just about anybody that hunts your goin to see some unethical actions, because whats unethical to onemay not be to another

Is Michael Vick a good NFL quarterback?

He is an average qb, just like Tred is an average hunter. There are many better qb's, and many better hunters.

He is an average qb
So.....out of 200+ D1 football progarms......where about <1% of all high school football players get to go on scholarship.......he was one of the 10 or so quarterbacks drafted......signed.....and that rose to starting status.

I'd take those "elite" percentages. Bottom line is.....they're both damned good at what they do.

This forum should be locked. No one is going to gain from saying if they like the show more or less. He makes his living hunting, many people dont and are jelous of that. Just my own two cents.
