Sliver you can spin it any way you want. I never got upset at you. I get upset when guys add 2 + 2 and come up with 4 and tell me they don't like "4" because it's an ******* number.

Still 4, ain't it?

Unfortunately Versus doesnt run too many hunting shows except early Sat and Sun morning when Im usually always busy doing stuff. How many guys get to lay around til noon on weekends watching TV?Sometimes they run some shows in the afternoons. So, it doesnt really matter what celeb is on. I'd watch Martha Stewart chasing pigs with a bowie knife if thats all I had to watch. And I do watch Tred, he is a little over the top for sure, some of his opinions dont line up with mine, but Like I said, I dont get to watch TV often so I take what I can get.

Since when does Tred do it the hard way?

He hunts at some the best ranches in the West, goes to very low pressure areas like British Columbia, etc. Anyone who gets the chance to stalk 34 mule deer in the same trip, and take multiple shots, doesn't exactly have it hard.

Do us both a favor Jeff and go back and read my first post, then read your reply to me and your next post befor I could even answer the first one, and Im sure you can see that you put the spin on your own thread.
If you can add 2+2 and come up with 4, Then I am sure you knew when you posted a thread about Tred, someone was going to say something bad about him unless you have had your head under a rock since you been a member on this forum, and I dont think thats the case.
You think he does things the hard way, thats ok with me! However, I see him as a threat to something myself and many others in this State faught hard to keep, and every time I see his name come up on one of these threads I feel obligated to let everyone know I think he's a Blabbering Hypocritical A$$. But thats just me!

and he has taken shots over 100 yards with the wind blowing. i dont like the fact that he just shoots at anything that moves. he misses a lot too.

Where's the "spin"? I asked if you'd ever shot a longbow......which I equate to doing it the hard way.

Well.....that's why I prefaced the entire thread with this in the VERY FIRST POST ON THE THREAD.

I don't care whether you like the guy or not...

Holy ****. I feel like I've just been read the "american way" speech by the Delta's before they walked out of the fraternity hearing in Animal House.

HOW did we get to that????

Amazing......simply amazing.

For heavens sakes it is a Reality "Show". The guy is clearly concerned in ratings so he can make a buck. Yeah, he does some things the hard way. I do too. Does that make me smarter? No! Does it make him have to work harder to get what he wants? Yes! He is basically showing the general public if they want to waste countless hours doing it his way with mediocre success, they can. I for one, would rather spend my time learning how to do it right, and then use it for helping someone else. He is not helping anyone. He is lining his pockets. It's all about him and doing it his way. Well, wake up and smell the coffee. An ego is a terrible thing to display to the public.

Think of it this way, LT......

Fred Eichler basically does it the same way Tred does (most of the time)......but who do you think sells more books/hunts/air time?

I'd say his ego was selling pretty good.. He is not an unintelligent man (and, again....I wouldn't walk to the end of the street to hunt with the guy).

The post was......about how he hunts. Not about how he is as a person.

Being full of pride and a haughty spirit always goeth before a fall. I did not want to resort to the "Word", but it's the truth no matter how you look at it. If this guy did everything he does with an humble attitude he would probably be a much greater success. Like I said, egos are a terrible thing to display.
