but i just want to practice just uncase i need to take that shot lol

but i might stick with 40-50 yards

I tend to agree..as for the 70 yard shot, remember, if you're getting...let's say 235 fps it's going to take the arrow just less than 1 second to get to target (.89 sec to be exact) and you want to hit something about the size of a softball. That deer can move alot in 1 second.
