never done it....i generally wont draw unless i got an arrow nocked...then i aim it at something safe...

also wont let anyone draw my bow that isnt expirienced. i watch my "expirienced" friend draw his bow and let it down a couple times....hes just weak and over drawing...when he lets down he usually hits the trigger half way through...i stand back:D he wont touch my bow!

No, Not for about the last 47 years anyway.

i might have.

i was shooting a hoyt deviator target bow during practice one day and when the shot went off it sounded TERRIBLE. odd thing was though, it hit the target in the 7 ring at 90 meters. i dont know if it fell off the rest and as it was falling my release went off and caught it or what. i immediately took it to lancaster archery and they inspected it and deemed it safe, with no problems. it was an odd, and scary, experience.

I've done it several times, always because I didn't catch a cracked nock before shooting an arrow.

I never have. However, one of my brother's friends dry-fired my bow. Needless to say, shortly there after the string snapped and it got shot all to crap.

The little worm never paid for it either...

Yes, I did it last night. Just got a new thumb release and wanted to see how my draw length changed going from my previous wrist release. Accidentally touched the hyper sensitive trigger. Looks like my bow is fine, had to restring it, install a new peep. I guess thats a good indicator for how good the new PSE X-Force bow is, or I'm just real lucky.

I've done it before a long time ago with a 35lb draw. Had no idea what I was doing but it scared the crap out of me.
