I think there is an obvious wound on the side of his/her jaw, likely causing the drooling. I also see the little bumps on the head, butit looks likean older deer. Wierd

I have pics of a black faced doe on our property as well, I thought it was kinda unique. She also has a black streak of hair running down the middle of her back.

Is it just me or does it look like that deer was shot with birdshot or something?
Look at her coat and that mark on her face.
About 20 years ago a guy at my camp killed a doe that had been shot in the hindquarter
with bird shot. I'm not sure if it was confused with buckshot (which was used a lot back then)
or if the shooter was an even bigger moron and outlaw.
