By the way jmbuckhunter, I have personally shot 2 button bucks down here in November that had little more than two bumps of bone on his head much like what is in this pic. Both of those deer were the size of the deer in this picture. I don'e know for sure if this is or not, but I have been hunting for 30 years and I can identify what I shoot before I shoot it. Hey you started it, but thats ok, not a problem. Yeah in Dec button bucks will look like that, but not now. They look like the little guy in the first pic.

Granted I have never shot a button buck. i have seen some big ones in Oct. They look like they had baseballs coming out oftheir heads.

I have looked really hard; I do not see any bumps. I see a slickhead. Maybe it is a antlerless buck

And if ANYBODY on this forum is capable of recognizing a slickhead........I think I would be.....
