I know you didn't get what you ordered but is it really going to make a difference? It is nothing to get mad about because it just causes you more stress in the end.

I can see your point....it's not the fact that the peeps that were sent will or won'twork it's the fact that they didn't contact you and tell you that the size you ordered is no longer available and then, give you theoption to either order a different size that you could live with or cancel your order.

It's not the product but the way business was done that he's angry about....and so would I. I don't care if it's $10.00 or $10,000.00 I want what I ordered or give me a choice of what you do have or my money back. Don't tell me you're going to make it right only to send the wrong product again.[:'(]

I have some mixed feelings here. Having a business like this with so many products can be pretty difficult. The manufacturer's and suppliers don't tell the retailers when something will be discontinued until you try to order it. This isn't always the case , but many times it is.
I just ran into this w/ montana Black Gold. The trap door is no longer made, but it was listed in 2 of the 3 supplier catalogs I recieve.

I think they tried to make it right with you. I did not see if they charged you for the second set of peeps?
I'm not so sure they didn't have a typo , I can't find a 9/32 peep listed anywhere.

Some places have a policy on items that are out of stock, and will be out of stock for an extended time or permanently, that they will send an alternate product of equal or greater value. As always, read the fine print. Might want to go ahead and check that dealer's sales policy and see if they gave you fair warning.

2 each 1/4" peeps + 1 each 9/32" drill + Two minutes of time = 2 each 9/32" peeps. I don't think it's quite that easy to make Hondas out of Hyundais.[8D]
Agreed. Next time buy from a pro shop if one is in your area.

Only then I'd have peeps that will eventually "egg" from the compramised structural integrity.

Most you guys got me on this one.Having my phone number isalmost as good as me being in the next room. All you gotta do is holler. Heck, the bill even said 9/32 but both times the product was not.

How do you think they put 9/32 holes in those things, anyway? Magic? They use a drill. You reaming them out to 9/32 isn't going to cause them to egg to any greater degree than the same peep with a 9/32 aperture from the factory would.

Yeah, what he said. I doubt seriously that 1/32" is going to make any difference in the structural integrity of the peep sight. For that matter I can't see 1/32" making a difference in our sight picture either.

0.0156" off the total thickness of the wall is not much all. You could probably do it by hand even.
