Head shot with a bow

That chart just about sums it up.
Let me ask you guys a question,
Would you take a shot at a deer if it was the last hour of the last day of the season and it was the biggest buck you had ever seen on apiece of property where noone has ever seen a deer but 100's of people hunt and you were starving but the only arrow you had was tipped with a dull broadhead and the only shot you had was a straight away "Texas Heart Shot"?
Yeah, me neither but its funny how someone will come on, ask a question about something they have done knowing full well the likely responses they will getand then when those reponses do come saying "No, absolutely not" the person gets his panties in a bunch and starts trying to justifyhis action (that he already knew was questionable) and bashing the people for answering the question with answers he knew he wouldn't want to hear.
Bottom line is you can justify just about anything you want to, just don't expect everyone else too and more importantly this thread emphasizes the fact thatthere is no such thing as a stupid question, juststupid people that ask questions.

there is no trying to justify the head shot. Size of the deer doesn't matter. What shots people on tv take or joe hunter takes doesn't matter. Hitting a quarter doesn't matter. Having good or bad hunting land doesn'tmatter.
In the bowhunting world head shots are a no go, and there's no point in trying to make up good reasons for you to do so.
Gmmat, that's some funny stuff right there.

I am not here to judge but you asked.
In one post you claim not to have that many chances to shoot a deer and the the next you claim to have killed over a100 deer. So if that is true, you are getting the chances.
I would never take a head shot on a deer with any weapon, further more if I found out that a hunter had attempted such a shot on my land they would have to take their shirt off to crap.
You can't honestly expect people to see your side on this and then when they don't take your ball and go home. Man up there cowboy.
