Question for Mathews bow owners
#42
Notice what Mathews does on their target bows. They don't use aseparate grip at all but instead machine the bows riser to be the grip. This is because a skinny grip torques the bow less. The wider the grip the farther the sides are from the verticle center line of the bow and the farther the sides are from the centerline the easier it is to torque the bow.
This is exactly the same reason why over draws are detrimental to accuracy.
And this is not just a grip problem that is confined to only Mathews. It applies to all manufacturers that use the wide contoured grips.

The reason I'm asking is I saw a few threads when that bow was first released where people were raving about how Mathews had "finally listened" to its custome base, but upon actually doing a side-by-side comparison, it was the exact same grip they'd always used. Just curious.
