If you're like me....I'm ONLY trying to get an inventory of the deer on the property I'm hunting. I don't go into their travel routes to set up cameras for a reason.
Like I said.....I set mine up about 15' from a mineral site.....and I'll bet you I'm about 2 out of 100 on "no deer" photos. I'm one of the few that probably started with a Cudde and moved to a moultrie. Also.....if I spent $400 on a camera....I wouldn't be telling you how bad it was.
Luckily....I found someone that wanted my Cudde more than I did.

Does anyone have any experience with the Primos Silent Image?
Other than the price, which I feel is ridiculous(799.00). Ive read and heard some awesome reviews about it. I want to just bite the bullet and buy one, but am having trouble justifying it, plus I'mtoo worried about theft.
This is the part that got me..........
NearVideo™ captures images at up to five frames per second, or set the still mode for any rate you desire. InstaOn™ gives the camera a trigger response time of less than 1/10 of a second with a PIR motion-sensing range up to 100 ft.[/align]

Right now I have a CamTrakker Digital Ranger, a Cuddeback Excite, a Stealth I450, and a Moultra 1.3 MP. They range in price from $450 to $100. The CamTrakker is the most expensive of the 4 units, but it takes the best quality photos and has the 2nd best trigger speed next to the Cuddeback. The Moultrie is a piece of junk, the batteries don't last more than 7 days, and it triggers very slow. However, for $100 it works great over a food source like an apple tree/mineral lick, or over a scrape.
Its been a week so I better have at least a deer or two on there.

Justin, what do you think about the I450? I've heard alot of bad things about the battery life. I just received my external 12 V battery today. I'm going to charge it for about 15 hours and go out tomorrow to install and gather my pics.

Okay, gottcha. I'm pretty much in the same boat your are. Tomorrow will be the first time I check for pics. I'm telling you now that the battery life sucks [:-] but the camera itself is pretty good. Thats why I went ahead and ordered the external battery. Be sure to post pics when you get them.
