In my book, risky shot=unethical shot. But that is just me. If I dont feel comfortable with the shot the arrow doesnt leavethe string

If I have the confidence I can make the shot I will take it. You should know how far you can hold a nice group. If you don't have confidence you will make that shot you are just "Flinging an Arrow" and hoping to get lucky and that is BS.

I would suspect they're one and the same for each person individually. That said, I may take a shot you wouldn't or vise versa. So in effect, what's risky for you is totally ethical for me or something like that.
I couldn't agree more. I was watching a hunting show where a guy shot a whitetail at about 65 yards. While I would've never taken the shot, he was a supposed world class archer and made a perfect hit. We can all sit here and talk about whether or not something is "unethical", but when it comes down to season beginning there will be more posts aboutthose missing deer that was supposedly a "perfect double lung" hit than anything else. I've found that many people post what they think everyone here wants to hear, but in actualitywill take acompletely unethical shot that they deemed so horrible on a post the night before.

Risky means that there a chance in error which i would consider unethical...
