Boo Hoo Hoo, I don’t wike my wittle hunting shows this way or that way……….I wike em wif nofing but manwy men shooting bigggggg hairwy beasts! Waaawaaawaa……….

Give me a break! try being stuck with just the stupid “Versus” channel and 52 billion hrs of non-stop Tour De. France coverage!! (Or maybe worse yet ESPN and yet more bass boats).

Be glad you get to whine about the little things that seem to cause such horrible mental setbacks on your hunting programming……….BECAUSE WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE HUNTING PROGRAMMING.
While the evil Drury Bros are ruining your day, change the frickin’ channel for 1/2hr and ease your soul with some more “Crocodile Hunter” reruns, or pick up some cooking tips from Rachel Ray.
Maybe some of you guys will learn what cheese goes with that whine.

(Is there anyone out there who still remembers the days when we wereactually HAPPY to see "Buckmasters" on TV? )

Matt:

If I could figure out a way to print you DVD's from my hours and hours of DVR'd programming........I would.

We really DO have it pretty good, right now.....and it beats the hell out of "America's got talent" and "Idol".

Maybe they could do a show with the guys racing bikes around a bass boat.....or maybe another poker tournament!!!:):D[&:]

Ratings, ratings, ratings = BIG $$$$. These guys are geniuses they figured out how to turn what we look for in simple deer huntingshows. In to a multi-million dollar profit for themselves. They wouldn't even be talking to multiple bow companies if they weren't succeeding like they are. I hate to say it but everyone that has responded in this thread has watched that show and whether you liked it or not you still tuned in for a short period of time because of the hype. Guess what that equaled ratings. Also all the people that talked about the soap opera part of the show. That was at the end of the show, which means you watched the hole show!

I agree that the Drury's are taking hunting in Dream Season to a soap opera version, but honestly I think those guys are a lil "special" anyways. I chose not to watch the show anymore for that reason. Although I do like Wildlife Obsession

[/align]So, I guess what you are saying is that voicing one's opinion equals whinning. Hmmm...Sorry, I missed the purpose ofa "forum" then. This is usually the defensepeople take when they can't think of any intelligent to say...call someone a name. Or they say, change the channel..I repeatedly stated that I have. Someone started a thread to express concern over the direction some hunting shows are headed. Express, discuss, dialogue...uh, you whinny babies.Feel free to reread the definition of a forum. I wondered who was watching shows like The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars...now I know.

LOL........."just my opinion", you should stop being a whiny baby.:(:D

Guess you missed the tongue in cheek nature of it with the ;)in the subject of my reply? I'm shocked thatyou didn't catch that withsuch a solidgrasp of the term "forum"andwhat it means to be a part of one. LOL

(by the way, even though I've been here for over 7yrs I've always been a little shaky on the term "forum" andhow I should behave so thanks for the heads up:eek:)

Gotta go I'm missing a poker tournament on ESPN2..............[:@]

I feel the same way. I don't think that the NY couples trying times needed to be part of the show. I don't watch their programs much anymore. Too much drama.

I don't think we're cry or whining so much as we're expressing a dislike of a good thing going bad. I don't watch them exactly. I TIVO them, fast forward through the commercials or hunts I don't want to see. That way you can watch a show in about 6 minutes.[8D] I think the crap could be replaced by good info, scouting, REAL blood trailing and not a camera watching some guy come to his deer and acting surprised. Put a measuring tape on stands and show them how high they are and why. I'd much rather the time be filled with info like that than fabricated fist pumping and "That's what I'm talkin' 'bout" or having some dud declare his hauty lady has dumped his butt.
