Default Bowtech "screw" question...

I just recently got my new (06 model) Bowtech Allegience I was looking at it today and notices 2 fat headed allen screws about two inches below the limb pockets on the riser. The slotslooks like it is made to adjust. I was just curious as to what these do and the effect it will have on my bows performance. thanks!!
Sorry probably should have put this in "Technical"

You just need to loosen those before increasing/decreasing draw weight......then tighten them back down.

GMMAT is right.

Allows it to properly pivot when tightening or loosening limb bolts.

Yup, Hoyts have the same thing with the pivoting limb pockets.

Bowtech, as well asmany other bows, have pivoting limb pockets that move when you adjust the draw weight.

Those bolts are simply there to lock the pivoting pockets down tight to the riser and minimize any excess movement from the limb pockets.

Loosen them when you adjust the draw weight and tighten them back down when you are done.
