I found a side of my father I have never seen before. Which makes it even harder to be away from him.

I was walking back to my truck, after a morning hunt, along the edge of a field that had been disced. I looked down and there was the blade of a tomahawk staring up at me. It had been hit by the blade of the disc but it was intact and really cool.

Found a pic.

best find i ever made was walking up on a old perfectly intact arrowhead. then found another not 50 yards away cracked in half. the weirdest part is that they were both on a cattle trail that i have walked hundreds of times before without noticing them. amazed me that the one wasnt craked from a cow steppin on it yet.

I call this the beaver ball, almost looks like 2 beavers went at it at the same time, one standing on the others back

You Guys have found some really neat stuff......well except finding the dead guy leaning against the tree!Man that would freak me out "ZOINKS"!!!

My Brother In-law lost his brand new cell phone while discing one of our food plots......every time he disc the plot up to plant something new we walk the field looking for the phone! LOL

I did find a horse shoe in the same plot,a bent piece of metal rebar and several pieces of broken parts off a very old style plow.My Father In-law lost his billfold while plowing his lower field and 2 years later he was planting in the same field and found his old billfold.

I found an arrowhead while hunting in Mississippi. That was pretty cool.

I've found arrow heads and such. Found some pot plants on state land that were over 8ft tall.

Never found anyone dead or anything like that. Talk about a find.

I also like to find old foundations and wonder what it was like back then. What the house looked like. How the people lived that far in the woods.

While hunting Antelope in MT a few years back on BLM land I found a buffalo skull. I had dropped down into a deep cut bank creek and while trying to put the sneak on the Antelope I noticed a horn protruding out of the bottom of a 20 ft ledge. I marked the spot and after shooting and collecting my antelope I went back and recovered the skull. Imagine finding something buried 20 feet under the prairie and how long it had been there. Several hundred years or maybe a thousand years…who knows. When I left MT to go live in England I gave it to a friend of my wife’s who was a sculpture and he made a bronze of it and gave it to use as a going away gift…a great reminder of our time in MT.

I don't know, maybe it's because God and I can spend some time together there

That sure isn't GAY! It is why alot of us hunt. To spend time with GOd and his creations. I'm proud that you weren't ashamed you post that. Most people shy away from things like that even if they feel like you do.
