I don't think the guy is a very good bowhunter for starters, if he can only get within 70 yards of a white tail deer, he isn't much of a hunter. Shooting skill had nothing to do with it, just plain luck and plenty of it. Anyone that says they knew exactly where to aim at 70 yards on a live animal is streaching it by quite a bit. Truth of the matter is you don't know where to aim as you don't know what is going to happen before the arrow gets there. In this case he was lucky the deer moved where the arrow was, cutting the arterey. I don't think it's a very high percentage shot. It goes against everything I was taught as a bowhunter. I am not pleased with him.
