Merry Christmas to me!!!
#1
The presents for all the relatives, kids and the wife have been bought, wrapped (well, maybe wrapped isn't the right word for the mess I made with the wrapping paper, we'll re-word that to "the presents are COVERED WITH PAPER"
and sitting under the tree. So, with all that finished. I headed to the bow shop last night with a mission in mind--- order a Hoyt Pro Tec XT2000 in cam and a 1/2!!!
I've never had a Hoyt before (Martin, Merlin and PSE were my previous bows), but I did alot of homework on this and I know I made the right choice for me. The guys at the shop said it should be here in 6-8 weeks, just in time to get it ready for the first IBO World qualifer in my area in March, but too late for my bow season that ends on Jan. 31. I can't wait!!!
Merry Christmas to everyone. Have a SAFE and happy Holiday!!
I'll be hunting this evening and Christmas morning... does anyone know any good divorce attorneys for when the wife finds out about the new bow and me not being home on Christmas morning!!!!

Congrats on the new bow, I bought my new one before Christmas, I told the wife I was going to buy one at the pawn shop and she said I was nuts for buying a used one, that I should get a new one, I took her at her word.

UPDATE---
The wife was not pissed in the least that I was in the woods on Christmas eve and Christmas morning. As an added bonus, she didn't even get upset about the bow purchase. In fact, the first words from her mouth were "Do you want me to buy new accessories for the bow for your birthday?" She's quite the woman and I am lucky to have her!!!
I hope everyone's Christmas went well.
P.S. No, my wife doesn't have a sister.

Rats!!! No sister! Oh thats all right, my wife was the one that told me to buy a NEW bow and not a used one so I have no complaints. Enjoy the new bow.
