I was reading a review on the hunter version and they said the clamp for the string on the rest is plastic and easily breaks. Any truth to this?

Yeah, unfortunetely it is true. I didn't even notice. Well, I quess I'll stick with it and see how it holds up. It wasn't expensive anyway. Thanks for pointing that out!

What exactly is plastic on it? Could it be replaced with metal or something sturdy very easily?

Good luck with your new rest, but I love my Bisquit. Have used one for6 years andhaven't haveany problems with it at all.

It is just a little part that rotates as you draw, pulling the rest and arrow up. I am not sure if it can be replaced.

Just have your shop tie the cable into your string. You don't even need the plastic part.
